Why Should We Ban Animal Testing???

Why Should We Ban Animal Testing

Animal testing is when scientists test products on animals. Animal testing should be banned because vertebrae animals could be extinct, animal results are not transferable to humans, and animal testing could be replaced with alternative methods.

Vertebrate animals could extinct due to animal testing. In the U.S, more than 100 million animals are used in animal testing each year. Over 100 million animals that are used in animal testing are burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused every year in U.S. labs.

There is no point in animal testing because the results cannot be 100% transferred to humans. An example of this is how edible chocolate can be eaten by humans but not dogs. Aspirin is a household medication taken by humans for pain relief, but this is poisonous for cats.

Animal testing could be replaced with alternative methods. Human tissue sampling and computer modelling. But sadly scientists like to test experiments on innocent animals instead.

Animal testing is cruel, over 100 million animals are being used in animal testing every year. Animal testing can be replaced with human tissue sampling and computer modelling, however, scientist still prefers to test on animals.

  1. Hi Pauline! My name is Mia from Yaldhurst Model School.
I really like your reasons, they were all very powerful and clear with statistics and facts supporting your answers.

100 million! that's a lot of animals and I am amazed that's the amount in only one year! It just proves how many experiments or tests that scientists do.

To improve, you could add an introduction to your blog, the contexts are great, the writing part of it, it just needs a nice welcome, like Hello everyone! Or something on those lines.

If animal testing can be replaced, why don't we replace it?
    Awesome work!
