Why is Science Taught in Schools?
♥My definition of science♥
Science is the study of the things around us. There are different branches of science, this has to do with different jobs like astronomer, botanist, cytologist, biologist, geologist, pathologist, meteorologist, marine biologist, geneticist, epidemiologist, etc… Method of science is ‘Question, hypothesis, experiment and conclusion’. The importance of science is to find how things work.
♥Why is science taught in schools♥
Science is the study of the things around us. There are different types of science. Science can be believed if proven. There is a scientific method of understanding and answering our questions about the world. There are many theories to be tested and answered.
♥Understanding our surroundings♥
Science is the reason why we all can understand the things around us. This is how we can cure people, animals and find solutions to our questions.
♥Technology♥
Science is helped with technology, without it we cannot answer theories and questions. Technology built satellites in space so we could know the surroundings around earth, it also helped us find chemicals with the help of a microscope.
♥Scientific Method♥
To answer our questions we must follow the scientific method ‘question, hypothesis, experiment and conclusion’. Scientists use this method all the time, this is taught in schools throughout the world, once taught, this method can be used in our daily lives.
There are many theories and questions to be answered. Science is still important today in our daily lives.
