This week we started a new topic in Maths. We had to record ourselves measuring 3 items from around the house.

Famous Mathematicians

This week is maths week, so we are completing a series of maths challenges. In our first challenge we learnt about famous mathematicians.

WALT: Subtract 3 digit numbers.

Team 5 Assembly

Today the year 7 and 8 team captains told team 5 what their team did and what there higlights were. The year 7 team leaders were Sauma, Bradley, Simon, Mohammed, Nina and Oalii.  Nina's higlight was the food. Sauma's highlight was when her team corporated and shared ideas,and let others step up out of there confort zone. Oalii's highlight was when her team played the cup stacking game, she also said that she liked to see everyone cheering people on. The year 8 leaders were Zamera, Jezakaia, Sione, Chance, Arthur, Caleb, Leilani and Mamarei. Zamera's highlight was riding the go carts. Jezakaia's highligh was when the boys would sleep together because they were scared. They year 8s and 7s had a fun time during those three days.
